Variation
margin
A sum paid by futures traders to cover an unfavourable
move in their futures situation.
Vendor
Defined in the inventory Rules as a person to who
restricted securities are issued.
Vendor shares
The shares established by the seller of a possession
from the company to which he sells the possessions.
Sometimes the seller of the property receives both
Vendor Shares and cash.
Vertical Spread
Most normally used to describe the purchase of one
option and sale of another where both are of the same
type and same expiration, but have dissimilar strike
prices.
Volatility
Calculate of the amount of fluctuation in price of
the underlying safety calculated using the standard
difference of average daily price change. The measurement
of how much an underlying safety fluctuates over a
stage of time.
Volatile
When the market or security tends to vary often and
wildly in prices, it is said to be volatile.
Volume
Volume is the daily digit of shares of a safety that
are traded. Volume is one of the most important indicators
we timepiece.
